Happy New Year, Good Humans

Do you have a word for 2018? If so, I’d love to know what it is.

In years past, I haven’t really given this much thought until about, oh March…

Even then I don’t really focus on it very much or give it much weight but it seems to work for others.

I might give it a real shot this year and really take some time to decide what my word will be and spend time breaking it up into pieces to help manage my goals for the year.

I’m not quite sure what my word will be just yet. I’m still in the discovery phase.

However, I went to an amazing Winter Solstice Celebration where we did a guided meditation aimed to help us figure out when we were most happiest in different phases of our lives, in order to align us to our true selves and what we desire for ourselves, both personally and professionally.

There was definitely a solid theme amongst my recollections.

That theme was social connections; friendships, socializing, connecting, networking.

I realize I’ve lacked in that department immensely the past couple of years. It’s definitely something I want to focus on for 2018.

I also have many plans for The Good Human Experiment, and happily social connections will be a huge component. As are growth, outreach, positive impact, and so much more.

Tell me. What’s your word for 2018? I’ll post mine within the next week!
